A group of 11 turned up to walk with Karen and her lovely dog Strike on what was a beautiful spring morning.  In fact the whole day was perfect.

Now Karen, true to form as a leader, said it was a nice easy walk with very little ascent…… hmmmm 3300ft later…. The route was varied with lots of undulation and presented some excellent photo opportunities which the whole group enjoyed.  Breakfast stop was at Scammandon dam a lovely setting indeed and it was refreshing not to be walking in mud all day.  Well done Karen on that one.  Lunch stop gave us all some fantastic views to enjoy and with the early start we were back at Brig Royd by 3.00pm after a thoroughly enjoyable day filled with great walking and a suitable amount of joviality.
