A perfect weather day for a high level moorland walk. We left Crowden  through Bareholme Moss onto Black Hill and then onwards to Dead Edge End. where we took our morning break. Crossing the Woodhead Pass we climbed to Bleaklow stones.and then made our descent back to Crowden by way of Stable Clough. Thanks to all who walked and a special thanks to Jud Clyne, Arthur Gillett, Harry Mendel. David Nussbaum and Benny Rothman who helped make this walk possible.
