We met amid the most terrible wind and rain.  I was not keen to start but then Tom Wood of West Yorks. turned up after a train journey and a 2.5 mile walk to reach the start point.  Well, we had to do the walk after that sort of effort didn't we.  The walk length was just under 19 miles but they were hard miles in the worst conditions I have ever experienced.  We now call ourselves the Gale Force.
