2015 01 24 Lymmoscene

After battling through foot deep snow in Hebden Bridge 2 days earlier, it came as something of a surprise to discover a snow free landscape in sunny Cheshire.

Much to the dismay of local dog walkers we almost filled the smallish car park on the outskirts of Lymm. Off bang on 8.30am on a lovely calm bright day. Today we would spend playing 'Spot the Contour' as we skirted field paths and strolled down quiet country lanes seeing how the other half live. Several lovely pubs passed - bet you can't get a pint for under £4 in any of them! Not that we tried of course.

A good walk at a brisk pace - back for 3pm with at least 21 miles recorded.
