The Bullock Smithy Hike

Every year, on the first full weekend in September, 3rd Hazel Grove Scout Group runs the Bullock Smithy Hike.  Starting and finishing in Hazel Grove (formerly known as Bullock Smithy), this is a 56-mile challenge walk/run in the glorious Peak District.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
