We had 116 walkers and runners on the long course with only four retirements, which is amazing given the conditions under foot. 63 completed the short route with no retirements.  We had a new fastest time with Rob Downes completing the long course in 3 hours 58 minutes We had three boys under 13yrs old who completed the short course, and two over 80's completing the long course - one of them being South Manchester's Ken Bentley.

Note that there were problems with the timinigs for CP1. Therefore we have had to give them all a provisional time of 08:00.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
