No more 4x4s on the Roych

Good news!

The Peak Park Authority have decided to make a traffic regulation order (TRO) under section 22BB(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation  Act (RTRA) 1984 to prohibit use by "mechanically propelled vehicles" at any time along the Roych, above Chapel-en-le-Frith.  So, no more 4x4s or motor-bikes churning up this ancient greenway.  Look forward to seeing the Park Rangers chucking any offending vehicles in the crusher!

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
