Peaks and quiet no more?

From The Ramblers:

Hello LDWA Walkers

I love the Peak District, it’s my favourite part of the country to go walking. When I want to escape, I head to Hathersage for tranquility and awe-inspiring scenery.

I'm sure fellow walkers, you must know what I mean.

But on some paths, instead of solitude, I get greeted with thunderous engines, deep ruts left by 4x4s, and I have to jump out of the way when a motor-bike whizzes past. This isn't just unpleasant, it's dangerous.

The Peak District National Park are now asking if motorbikes, 4x4s and quad bikes should be banned from two historic paths that have been used for hundreds of years.

Please join me in telling the Peak District National Park that they have to ban motor vehicles from destroying the countryside.

Together, we can stop the menace that off-road vehicles are causing to these historic tracks – tell the National Park that you support their proposals.

Thanks,
