The source of the Aire is Malham Tarn but our walk took us to the Heads of Aire outside Malham and dry as a bone. After passing through Airton, Malham and Janets Foss lunch was taken at Weets Top followed by a breezy and showery 3 mile descent into Carlton where we picked up the Pennine way back to Gargrave.
A dull day weather-wise compensated by good company. Thanks to the four who turned up.
