A good walk in good spirits in spite of the weather and difficult conditions.

 

Light rain in morning, heavier around mid-day but cleared up later.  Very wet underfoot after the previous week's snow and rain so we diverted away from the river bank and skipped the moorland bog.  Considering the overall ascent of 3000 - 3500 feet we made a good average speed and with the same mileage as the originally planned route.  Finished at Skipton station at 16:25.
