Walk Leader: Iain Connell

Eight participants (unfortunately only Iain from North Yorks Group).  It rained after start and before finish, not heavily but very wet underfoot (overnight rain plus snow melt) except for tarmac and flagstone surfacing.  Visibility approx. 85%. Three chose to cut short on the the ascent to Addingham High Moor Ridge, returning via Ilkley.  Finished at Saltaire at 5.45.  23-24 miles depending on GPS.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
