Both walks will start from St Catherine’s Village Hall, Chestnut Avenue, GU2 4HF; The 30 mile walk will start at 0830 (0730 train from London Waterloo). The 19 mile walk will start at 0930 (0830 train from London Waterloo). Drivers should park cars at Artington Park and Ride, Old Portsmouth Rd, GU3 1LP (NB This car park closes at 7.30 p.m.)

The 30 mile route is Guildford – Peaslake – Tanners Hatch – Shere – Guildford;
The 19 mile shorter route Guildford – Peaslake – Shere – Guildford.

General Notes
Bring a picnic lunch. The shop in Peaslake (10.5 miles) will be open for refreshments and Shere (24.8 miles on the longer route, 13.5 miles on the shorter route) is well provided with a coffee shop and pubs but those on the longer route will be walking at a brisk pace and there will be limited time for stops. The walks are primarily for those volunteering on the day as Marshals. Others are welcome especially if you want a led walk that introduces you to Challenge Walks but note that the longer route will indeed be challenging!
