From British Film Institute Riverfront Café, SE1 8XT underneath Waterloo Bridge

Celebrate the best of London and avoid the March mud along a route that uses paths through public parks, fine town squares, waterways and green spaces, starting on the South Bank and proceeding via Royal Parks, Hampstead Heath and Highgate Woods, the new Woodberry Wetlands and the River Lea to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. An urban walk that passes a wide variety of shops and cafés

General Notes
Walkers only. Entry limit 100 (if exceeded LDWA prioritised then ballot). Online entry only between 14th Nov 2016-19th Feb 2017. The registration period for the Inaugural Capital Challenge 2017 closes on 29th Dec 2016. If more than 100 valid entries have been received by then, entrants will be selected by means of a ballot. Full details of this process can be found on the event website. If places remain available after 29th Dec they will be filled on a first come, first served basis until the final closing date on 19th Feb 2017
