Meet Harlow Town stn (Liverpool Street 08.25) finish Chingford Stn (zone 6)
The route follows the River Stort to Roydon and then leaving the river behind through Nazeing and to Upville for lunch (picnic or pub - see http://thehorseshoes-countrypub.co.uk). After lunch the Forest Way takes us to High Beach and then the route passes through Little Hurt Wood comprising magnificent beech trees to experience the glorious autumnal colours and on to Chingford via Connaught Water
