London LDWA

Two notices to pique your interest. First off, if you're technology-minded and want to do your bit to whittle down the LDWA's printing bill and help our beleaguered planet at the same time, why not consider receiving your thrice-yearly Strider electronically? Secondly, we're always happy to publicise Essex & Herts Group's events. I've done Essex Walker myself and I can confirm that both the route and catering are lovely.

Our hike this Saturday is described as 'energetic', and a good walk through the beautiful Sevenoaks Weald sounds just the ticket if you're going to spend most of this week huddling indoors out of the wind. Scroll down for all the details.

Happy walking!

E-Strider

One of the topics discussed at London Group's recent AGM was the option members have of opting out of receiving a print copy of Strider and instead having it emailed as a pdf. If you like the idea of reducing environmental impact and saving postage and print costs, then contact Julia Warman at Membership@ldwa.org.uk and she will action it for you.
