Treading the tarmac, and the long and short of the Founders - this week with London LDWA
London LDWA
A fond welcome back to The Tarmac Walks Club (copyright Ron Williamson) which convenes mid-morning on Thursday at Fenchurch Street station, ends at Waterloo, and includes, among other delights, a visit to the refurbished Liberty Bounds. Ron has prepared a spreadsheet listing all the fascinating points of interest featured on the walk and asks that anyone intending to take part prints off a copy and brings it with them. Scroll down for the link and the rest of the details, and those of Saturday's Founders Challenge Marshals Walk. A reminder - let Gavin or Isobel know asap if you plan to attend the latter (contact details below).
In other news, congratulations to London Group member Steve Garnsey, whose photo has been selected to go on the 2020 LDWA membership card. Way to go, Steve!
