A-Roming with Ron and All the Aitches - this week with London LDWA
London LDWA
Two good 'uns scheduled this week to brighten up the dim and dark days of approaching winter. On Tuesday, Ron the pop-up king has come up with a daytime excursion along the green corridors of the Rivers Rom and Ingrebourne, and on Saturday everything apart from the leader begins with H (Aitch?) as Neil leads the way from Hatton Cross to Harefield via Hayes and Harlington. All the details below.
STOP PRESS An early alert from Dave Williams. Are you planning to go on his Extended Wetherspoon's Odyssey on Sunday December 2nd? If so, be aware that there's a change of start venue. It's now at Hamilton Hall, the Wetherspoon's at Liverpool Street Station, NOT Walthamstow Central.
LDWA London Group Members Survey
What do you need from LDWA London? Do you get what you want, could it be better, and if so how?
Last week, all primary members of LDWA London Group should have received an email inviting them to take part in this year's inaugural members' survey. This is an opportunity for you to have a say in what's going well, what could be better and what the Group does next.
We really hope you can find the time to reply - it should only take ten minutes.
If you are a primary member and have not received the invitation or have any questions about the survey, please contact london@ldwa.org.uk
We'll share the answers through the weekly email and there will be a formal report at the 2019 AGM - which, by the way, is planned for the evening of Wednesday 13 February at the King & Queen pub, Foley Street W1W 6DL, the same venue as last year.
