Walk in memory of Don Bolton and Sylvia Nagarkar
Saturday or Sunday 22nd/23rd September
Many London Group members will have known of Don Bolton and Sylvia Nagarkar. Both were founder members of the group and both were at the heart of the group over the years. Both passed away last year. Don lived in Guildford and he delighted in the area. Sylvia, too, had a long association with it, so it is appropriate that the walk is centred on the Guildford/Peaslake area. I am suggesting a distance of about 15 miles - although that can be extended if need be. A shorter distance will also be provided for those short of walking. It will be a relaxed walk with a stop in a quiet location where we can join together to share personal memories of Don or Sylvia. There will be a longer pub stop for lunch. Family members are keen to be involved and are pleased that we will have the event. Offers to lead would be welcome as would any ideas you may have. If you are in touch with anyone who is no longer connected with the group who knew Don and Sylvia please let them know.
