It turns out that the problem with the trains on Saturday is that London Bridge is disrupted.
There are two routes that will get you to East Croydon where you will need to change onto a train to Edenbridge Town leaving at 09:23 (getting in at 09:46).
One train for East Croydon is scheduled to leave Blackfriars at 08:52 and another train is scheduled to leave Victoria at 08:53.
Trains back from Tonbridge are also disrupted with a bus service to Sevenoaks however an hourly direct service to Victoria via East Croydon is scheduled.
