Your LDWA needs you for Valleys 100

Weekend Away Friday 23rd May to Monday 27th May 2014

Volunteers needed for Checkpoint 14

Our London Group checkpoint this year is 90 miles along the route in Llanellen Village Hall

http://www.ldwa.org.uk/2014Hundred/W/2469/cp14-llanellen.html  and only 3 miles from Abergavenney so the walking should be brilliant.

The checkpoint will be open from 1100 Sunday to 0500 Monday and we will be providing Tea & squash: Hot dogs / rolls, pasta salad & rice pudding / tinned fruit (or similar).

I hope to have 3 shifts so volunteers can get some sleep either in the village hall or in Abergavenney.

This should be a great (and cheap) weekend away in a very beautiful area with a chance to support our London group champions. As well as inflicting our culinary skills on suffering walkers, there should be plenty of opportunity for us to walk and washing up can be lots of fun (honest!!)

I will provide further information about transport, accommodation, walks in due course.

Do fill in the application form/questionnaire below and return to
