London LDWA

Hello everyone

Sorry to bother you twice in one week - but what the heck, it's Friday, the sun is shining (at the moment) and I'm sure you can spare a couple of minutes to read this urgent note about our forthcoming events over the next couple of weekends..

Dilbert email

Hopefully this email won't meet the same fate...

Firstly, if you are coming on the "comets and curry" trip the weekend after next (i.e. Sat 19 and Sun 20 November), you should have received an email from me with final joining instructions a few minutes ago.
If you think you are coming and have not heard from me, please let me know ASAP by replying to this email

Secondly, if you would like to come on the "comets and curry" trip, there are up to two spare place(s) left.
If you would like to come please let me know ASAP also by reply to this email.
The price (including Dinner, B&B but excluding transport and lunches) is £78 or £28 if you just want to come on the walks and the evening event at the observatory, but to make your own accommodation arrangements.   You can find out more by clicking this link

Thirdly, if you are thinking of joining Keith's excellent-sounding Harlow to Chingford exploration on Saturday 12th (i.e. TOMORROW), please note that in time-honoured fashion there are rail engineering works which may affect your journey.  Specifically, trains seem to be diverting through Seven Sisters rather than Tottenham Hale, which may potentially affect anyone coming out via the Victoria Line - check travel websites before you set off

Fourthly, also if you are joining Keith's walk tomorrow and are busily planning your lunch arrangements, you might have noticed that the in my email on Monday the pub details in my note were wrong.  You can access the correct details for the pub lunch by clicking this link
Keith has taken the precaution of booking a some tables for the group, as well.

So hopefully that wasn't too tedious - but now you need to get back to work and start the countdown to going-home time!

Adam
