WALKS UPDATE

 The walk 22nd Sept Clandon to Guildford is cancelled and is replaced by a joint walk with Surrey Walking Club on:-

 Saturday 21st Sept. Petersfields Southern Face.

20 mls Strt Petersfield stn 9.00. Dep Waterloo 8.00.Return trains three an hour
Route description: The morning heads up into the South Downs and through
the Queen Elizabeth Country Park before going over Windmill Hill and
via Chalton to reach our lunch stop at The George in Finchdean. After
lunch, a variety of mixed woodland and small hills gradually lead back
up to the South Downs Way and our return to Petersfield for tea and the return train.

 Sunday 24 November Goldhanger

Walk not as advertised due to engineering works due 18 miles, circular. 0900 Witham  station car park (0755 from Liverpool Street). Through Wickham Bishops to  Goldhanger, lunch in pub or tea room, return through Little Totham.  Ldr Peter Aylmer.
