London LDWA

Dear all

So as we enjoy our leap day and look forward to March, this week we're going back to Hertfordshire again to check out those bits of Bishop's Stortford that Dave missed last weekend.

Filling in the gaps (with a route that is completely different, actually, from last weekend's), on Sunday. Lonica will be heading off on a circular walk taking in Hatfield forest and the rather magnificantly-named Stansted Mountfitchet.   And although the latter does sound suspiciously like a motorway service station near an airport, it's actually a rather attractive old Anglo-Saxon town on the Essex border.

If this sounds like your cup of tea, then take the train from Liverpool St and join Lonica at Bishop's Stortford station on Sunday morning at 09.15.

Actually, I think Groundhog day is 2 February, but close enough

I'm still plodding up the Pennine Way and made it to Hawes last night.   You can read all the gory details by clicking this link

So that's it for now.   Have a great week, and enjoy getting to know Hertfordshire!

Adam
