London LDWA

Dear all

The world-famous LDWA "unhelpful signs" competition finished at midnight last night, so now it's time to cast your vote for the winner.

It's very easy - just follow these three steps:

  1. Visit the competition website where all 40 entries are posted, by clicking here
  2. Look through the gallery of photos you will find posted there, and decide which you want to vote for.   Please only choose one and please don't vote for your own!
  3. All the photos are numbered - note down the number of your favourite, then reply to this email simply with the number of your choice.   If for any reason you can't reply to this email, then you can also send your choice to london.walks@ldwa.org.uk

You have until noon on Monday, 26 October to send in your vote.   I will then add them all up and the one with the most votes wins!   Yes it really is as easy as that.  And as a reminder, the prize on offer is a £25 wine voucher (or equivalent).

NB Voting is only open to LDWA London Primary and Associate members (i.e. recipients of this email) - so please don't try and arrange a mass voting campaign of all of your friends..

I look forward to hearing from you soon!   I'll announce the winner in the weekly update email next Monday.

(Note the Update might be a bit delayed as I'm walking the Dales Way next week and I'm not sure if they've got email in Yorkshire yet (NB I can safely say that because I come for Yorkshire)).

Finally, to start you thinking, here's yet another I spotted while on my travels last year:

Hazardous activities

Just what I think we all knew all along

All the best!

Adam
