Lincs Trails to Tealby Social Walk 29102016

This is a walk route which never fails to please. Nine members took part, leaving Nettleton just as a fine misty drizzle began to fall. Heading south on the low level route option, our leader David skillfully avoided some recently ploughed fields which would have made for heavy going in the mud. We stopped for morning break in Walesby woods befrore continuing into Willingham woods and some interesting tree colours. Arriving at the lunch stop at the Kings Head in Tealby we were able to sit outside and enjoy the warm day. Off again and the route gained more height allowing us to see a bit more of the Lincolnshire countryside, but It wasn't clear enough to see Lincoln Cathedral today. Our final section took us north along the Viking Way back to Nettleton and the finish. A really good walk, thanks to David for leading, Lesley for keeping him straight, Elizabeth for the pictures and everyone for coming.
