A Roam in the Wolds 210816

A bright sunny morning saw a group of sixteen walkers, including three visitors, leave Tetford village hall for a circular walk around the Lincolnshire Wolds and villages The weather was kind to us,the ground was dry and we made good progress through the recently harvested fields. We passed through the  villages of Brinkhill and Somerby before reaching our coffee stop at Hagworthingham. Into Snipe Dales Country park, past Winceby, and on to our welcome lunch break at Hammeringham. Onto Greetham and and a further drink stop at Fulletby. Turning east we reached Salmonby from where it was a short distance back to Tetford. A very enjoyable 20 mile walk topped off by a bowl of Peaches and Cream at the finish, kindly provided by Christine. Thanks to Christine for devising and leading the walk and to Lorna for the rogues gallery of pics.
