And as the sun set on 2018 we had an impromptu walk between Christmas and New Year which paid off with some lovely weather and one of the best sunsets of the year.  A fitting way to see the sun go down on 2018 - and then see it up again in 2019 see Barbondale walk.  Any impromptu walks are always advertised on facebook and with a quick round robin of the bulk emails so you won't miss out on anything not in Strider.
