After a year of exceptionally lovely dry sunny walks, our duck was broken!  We got the weather at last.  Some long faces were pulled, especially by new Committee Members who realised they really did have to come out for a walk today.  Indeed most of us only turned up cos we had to have a committee meeting afterwards and we applaud the few brave souls who came along with no such commitment.  This was a walk from Holehird gardens to visit Sour Howes and Sallows Wainwrights.  Here are a few pictures of Holehird on a lovely sunny day in September.  Some sweet photos to make up for a sour day!!
