Potters Fell and Staveley January 2018

Again, after many a rainy day in Lakeland we were blessedClimbing through Craggy Plantation

with dry if rather dull conditions.

We treat our January walk as a bit of a recovery/warm up after winter,

and never stray too far from the South Lakes because of the road conditions.

Potters Fell and Tarn and the surrounds are always a safe bet in the winter, and the lure of the Eagle and Child or Wilf's Cafe is strong too,

although this time the Hawkshead Brewery was our preferred choice as it was mild enough to bring on a bit of a thirst.

There are three separate summits on Potters Fell and we managed all three.  Thanks for Tony for planning the walk for us.

Is this a nice colour
