YHA National Forest is a new hostel in a broad area designated as the new National Forest. Format as in previous AGM weekends includes a full day walk on Saturday, Jan and Helen leading, Christmas meal in the evening and meeting on Sunday morning. Visits to local attractions for those arriving lunchtime on Friday or staying after the meeting on Sunday. Book in good time as places are limited

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
