The traditional car parking place, near the crossroads, is roped off – undergoing renovations.
There are signs up asking you to park in the main Castle Howard car park.
When Graham went there it appeared closed – too early? There is very little parking in Coneysthorpe village. So he suggests doing as they say & try to park in the main car park SE711 699; if the barrier is across either drive round it or - carefully- drive in the exit!
