| East Lancs held their annual Christmas Bash on Friday December 4th at Walshaw Sports Club. A good time was had by all. Following the buffet Norman played Father Christmas and made sure that all the children present received a selection box. Personal presentations were also made by Norman and Viv. A raffle took place with proceeds of £88 donated to Bury Hospice. A special guest on the night was the founder of East Lancs, Derek Magnall, who caught up with many old friends. The evening ended with plenty of dancing and a few high kicks to "New York, New York". Thanks to Barbara and Viv who organised the evening and ensured its success. |
