Around The Cleveland Hills

A Walk Around the Cleveland Hills

On Saturday 19th January , 9 walkers met in Ingleby Greenhow car park for a 15ml walk around the Cleveland Hills.

The weather for the day was forecast to be very cold, with frost. We found out that was true but with a layer of snow on the high ground and very little visibility due to a lot of mist covering the tops.

We set off at 9am and walked around the Ingleby plantation to Bank Foot. Then onto Park Farm passing through Battersby before climbing up to the road that took us over to Baysdale where we stopped for a break.  After the break we walked up and over Middle Head above Baysdale and across to the old railway Incline. We walked down it and had another break before crossing over fields to a road that took us back to the car park.

I would like to thank all who came on the walk and hope you enjoyed the walk as much as I did .

Dave.
