Meet in layby or park in Herrington Country Park. A19, go past A690 turn off & take the A183 signed Chester-Le-Street, in about a mile the Park is on the left, layby on the right (directly under Penshaw Monument)
Riverside path to Washington Wildlife Centre, James Steele Park, railway walk towards Rickleton, Fatfield, return to start
