Cotswold Challenge 2019 Results
Route Description: 26 mile GPX: 26 mile
Route Description: 18 mile GPX: 18 mile
A choice of circular routes from Birdlip Village Hall (grid reference SO 928 125): 26.4 miles and 18 miles for walkers and 26.4 for runners. A repeat of the hilly route taking in Bisley, Slad Valley, Haresfield & Painswick Beacon and Coopers Hill.
Entries open 2nd February and close 14th September or before if participant limit of 200 is reached. On line and postal entries only (on line preferred). No entries on the day.
Walkers start at 08.30, runners start at 09.30.
Dogs are allowed on a lead if covered by 3rd party insurance.
Routes are covered by 1:25 Explorer 179 or 1:50 Landranger 162 and 163 maps.
Participants should wear suitable clothing & footwear. They should also carry a compass, snacks/drink, simple first aid, and money. There will be refreshments provided at checkpoints but mugs will not be provided. Please bring your own mug.
There will be refreshments at the finish. All finishers will receive a certificate.
