John Nickerson Memorial Walk - Sun 15th October 2017

There was a huge turnout on last Sunday's walk from members of the BBN, Essex & Herts and Thames Valley groups. The unseaonably warm and sunny weather made for a near-perfect day. 
I don't know if anyone kept count, but my best guess would be that around 90 people showed up.  If someone has an accurate count, please let me know.

Judy Nickerson has sent me the following line of thanks.
"I would just like to say how pleased I was that so many people attended John’s memorial walk.  He would have been thrilled and humbled by the response
and I’m sure he would have been looking down on us.  Thank you all for coming."

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
