17 walkers, 16 miles

A great day out in the rolling Northamptonshire countryside. Lots of sunshine, attractive villages and hamlets, country estates and a super pub garden. The plum cider was extremely popular.

Brampton Valley Way - Spratton  - Holdenby - alongside Althorpe Park - lunch at Great Brington - more of Althorpe - Harlestone - heathland  - and back along the old railway line.

A most enjoyable day - thank you Bob.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
