20 miles in the rolling countryside west of Brackley with great views  – 15 walkers.    A very warm welcome to Julia (friend of Gill McM), to Karen (in the last three weeks she has done her first challenge walk, helped on  the FTAB and now been on her first group walk) and to Jan (Ian B's girlfriend).

Brackley – Hinton-in-the Hedges – Hinton Airfield – Charlton – Morning break at Hill Fort - Newbottle – Middleton Cheney – Farthinghoe – Brackley – including the grounds of Michael Heseltine’s house.   

A very enjoyable walk – a couple of heavy showers – but nothing to bother us too much.  Thank you Mary – we appreciate the time  and effort you put into sorting this walk for us.
