My GPS clocked 13.7 miles, 16 on the walk, chilly start, Bedford Purlieus (Bedford in Northamptonshire, or Cambridgeshire, very confusing), early fields warmed us up, what's the collective noun for Rogers (we had 3), fruit cake from Margaret (birthday last Saturday) in sunshine at morning tea break, 10 went to Black Horse in Nassington (ale and eating house since 1674), allowed to eat our sarnies, interesting tap (video 1MB),  saw kites and Jim saw a woodmouse, chilly finish, apple cake from Anne at the end.  More about Bedford Purlieus.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
