We had a lovely walk last Sunday with skies that were kind to us and ground slippery enough to warrant the use of cross-country skis at times! Lovely part of the country with a short morning break 'in' a quaint little chapel, followed by lunch under a church porch with ancient carvings and inscriptions that no-one could decipher!
Here are some photo of the mud-loving people who were present. Oh, and I also took a photo of the shortest short cut invented, 10 metres at best...They like their stiles in this part of the country!...
