Anniversary Quiz Walk - Sunday 27th October 2013

Map of route word (358KB) pdf (274KB).

33 on the walk, my gps clocked 7.9miles, friends from Essex & Herts, London and Thames Valley groups, what's the yellow thingy in the field, Bob did duty at the electric fence - does that make him a bright spark..groan, walked past the Devil's Horsemen (liked the joke Norm).

Back at the hall, we had a short talk about BOB  (not the bright spark at the fence - but the amazing work and skills of the Air Ambulance teams).  The quiz was great fun.   The Bedfordshire Clangers played their joker  early and took a commanding lead - but the scores soon evened out and by the time of Steve's infamous t-shirt round it had become a very close contest.  Amazingly, three teams tied for first place - but the win went to i-MBG when the points for the song title heading each round were added on.  Thank you to Norman for all the organisation, the walk, the food, the cake - and to Norman, Steve and Pearl for another great quiz.  Thank you also to i-MB for helping with serving food and drinks and clearing up.   A great afternoon and a fitting end to our 30th anniversary celebrations.  How many cakes have we got thru??
