18 on the walk (16 in the afternoon), clocked 16.8m (with a spike, so more like 16), welcome Kate - hope to see you on more walks, we saw deer, heard a woodpecker, Beryl had a fold-up fork, Peter McGuchan's bench is back, saw trains and boats, Badger Firkin Fox and Best in The Greyhound (hence name of walk), lots of reminiscing about the 60s (who knew Margaret was such a wild child)

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
