Note from Adrian: If you are thinking of going on Jim's walk on 14th November, at Woodford, please be aware that Ditchford Road (nr Rushden) has just closed for 9 weeks. This means you can no longer leave the A45 before Rushden Lakes and head north across the Nene Valley towards Finedon or Irthlingborough. If you use the A45, you will have to take the A6 from the Chowns Mill roundabout, towards Finedon.
