Henry the Eighth's Granny's Walk

Event Details Updated
There is NO RIGHT TURN from the northbound lane of the A508 into the layby where we will be parking. This is important for anyone coming up the A508 from Milton Keynes, who will need to continue over the canal bridge and find somewhere to turn round, to approach the layby from the southbound carriageway. There is usually a food van parked in the layby in the morning. The lunch stop is in Paulerspury, where there is a pub but not a lot of other shelter (the church porch is locked) if the weather is inclement. We will be following tracks, field paths, canal towpath and a stretch of country road. There are about 8 stiles and there were ploughed fields and sheep grazing when Dianne did the recce a few weeks ago.
