Botton Cheese

Residents of Botton Village (run by the Camphill Village Trust) have cast a special cheese for the NYM 100 and in May 2016 members of the  NYM 100 team visited the Botton creamery to witness the making and moulding of our event commemorative cheese.  The cheese will be matured for 12 months so it can be enjoyed at the Botton checkpoint with some wonderful Yorkshire ‘Botton made’ fruit cake.

Botton Village has previously supported long distance walking events, and are fondly remembered by walkers for the enthusiasm and warmth of their residents.
