The start and finish at the school in Malton is about 15 to 20 minutes walk from Malton Bus and Railway station.

The Coastliner bus runs every hour from York to Malton and Scarborough to Malton, and there are also train from York to Malton and Scarborough to Malton.

It is possible to take a train from further out on the line to Kings Cross on the day of the event. There are trains every hour from Kings Cross to York, and the journey takes about 2 to 2.5 hours. You'd need to get up early, but it's feasible to get a train from Kings Cross on the morning of the event. See the National Rail website for up-to-date details of times and possible disruptions.

Participants arriving at Malton by train or bus who require a lift to the HQ from the train/bus station, are requested to pre-book this requirement with Nick Ford at plodderslot@gmail.com.  An email with the expected arrival time would be appreciated.
