As you know all LDWA events are run entirely by volunteers. We are really grateful to all who have already offered to help with the 2017 100. Thank you all very much.

The jobs that will need covering are many and varied – anything from Car park duties, cleaning showers, making tea and toast, driving vehicles, marshalling entrants, helping at checkpoints or assisting with the paperwork. Each role is as valuable and important as the next. Without any one of these the event will not run smoothly.

If you will be available either to help on the 2017 Marshalls, or main event and haven’t yet let us know please contact me by email. We will be allocating roles very soon, but there will always be jobs to do and it is never too late to volunteer!

When you offer your services, if you are thinking of walking the 2017 Marshalls, please could you let me know.
