Welcome to the newest group for the LDWA. We are the South Pennine group and were formed in September 2008.Our membership primarily comes from the Oldham and Rochdale areas.
Please have a look at our social walk programme . We generally hold two walks a month,one on a Thursday and the other at weekend.
In addition we hold some social events such as group holidays and nights out. See our latest news page for details.
We hold a members monthly meeting on the first Wednesday of each Month at the Cross Keys Inn, Uppermill, Grid Reference SE008063. All are welcome 8pm start.
Members of other groups or prospective members are welcome to join us on our walks. If attending ,please bring sufficient food and drink to last the day as we do not normally do pub/cafe stops. On our winter walks we suggest you bring a torch (just in case!).
