Walking Dartmoor: History and Heart Monday 24 – 28 June

Schumacher College have a course coming up which might be of interest to LDWA members. The course ‘Walking Dartmoor: History and Heart‘, is for people who love walking and who wish to experience the wild beauty of Dartmoor and learn more about its history...


On this 5 day course you will explore the wilds of Dartmoor with an experienced walking guide who will show you the hidden beauty and history that is embedded in its hills and valleys. From Bronze Age stone circles to ruined medieval villages, crumbling enclosures and abandoned mines, you’ll learn how people and nature have been shaping this wild landscape for centuries. Accommodation is provided at Schumacher College set in the grounds of Dartington Hall’s 1300 acre estate in the heart of Devon.
