It is with deep regret we record that Tom Sinclair, past Chairman of the LDWA, passed away on 9th June. Tom suffered a stroke on Easter Sunday, from which he never recovered. After several weeks in hospital, he was moved into a nursing home towards the end of April.
Tom joined the LDWA in 1985 and spent time as Kent Group's Secretary and Newsletter Editor. He served on the National Committee as General Secretary from 1999 to 2003 and then as Chairman from 2003 to 2006. We shall miss his wise counsel, his gentlemanly manners and his mischievous sense of humour.
Tom leaves a loving family - his wife Jenny, four children and five grandchildren. Our thoughts are with them all at this sad time.
